YouTube

We embed videos from our YouTube channel on our website. As soon as you visit a page with an embedded YouTube video, YouTube sets a cookie that stores your IP address and our URL. YouTube can also associate your interaction on our website with your YouTube/Google account if you are logged in during this time. Data such as session duration, bounce rate, approximate location, browser type, screen resolution, contact details, ratings, social media sharing and bookmarks are recorded. If you are not logged into your YouTube account, fewer cookies are set, but even in this case, data with a unique identifier (device, browser, app) is stored.

All data collected is stored by YouTube on Google servers in the USA. The duration of storage varies (3 or 18 months), some remain stored until you delete them. You can do this manually in your Google Account. Regardless of whether you use a Google Account, you can configure your browser to delete or disable cookies from Google. YouTube is a subsidiary of Google, you can find the combined privacy policy here. According to Art. 46 (2) and (3) of the GDPR, YouTube is obliged to comply with the EU level of data protection when processing data outside the EU.

Contact form

We use the contact form plugin WPForms. When submitting a completed contact form, personal data is recorded and stored by us for one year.

Newsletter

We use the WordPress service to send our newsletters and maintain our e-mail distribution list.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address and the browser’s user to facilitate spam detection.

When you leave a comment on our website, you can consent to your name, e-mail address and website being stored in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you don’t have to re-enter your details the next time you want to leave another comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) is provided to Gravatar (service for providing avatars on WordPress) to see if you are using the avatar. You can find Gravatar’s privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in connection with your comment.

Koko analytics

Koko Analytics is a privacy-friendly analytics plugin for WordPress. It does not use any external services, so the data about visitors is never shared with third parties.

Furthermore, no personal data is collected and visitors can easily prevent tracking by activating “Do Not Track” in the browser.

Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.
